Their pastries are next level! We had sweet & savory food, and loved it all! I like that they have long, communal tables as well as individual chairs and couches. Fantastic find!

On the way to Bukchon Hanok Village we stopped at a bakery called Permanent. Such a cute place with amazing pastries! We tried one with cheese and olives plus a pain au chocolat—both super high quality. Fun detail: you can warm up your pastry yourself in a little oven. We LOVE this bakery! Everything is so good but our favorites are everything with fig, the blueberry danish and ESPECIALLY their new dill tuna sandwich. SO GOOD.

Arguably, the best bakery and coffee shop in Seoul. I’ve been having breakfasts here for 3 days in a row, trying different pastries. Every piece was stunning, and coffee is perfectly balanced between dairy flavor and pleasant roasted coffee beans. 2 upper floors make this location a perfect co-working area, if you are into it. Perment also offers dairy free items, check the photos. Will come back many times.

The café is so so cute, I really recommend going up to the first floor for the view. I tried one of the croissants and it was really good and crispy (I am french so my standards are relatively high). I would a 100% go back !

The first actually crusty bread I’ve had since we arrived; having travelled France a lot this is authentic sourdough bread, though you cannot sadly buy actual baguettes, only eat ready made stuff from the counter. The «croissant» pastry is 4 star, not the flakiest, but the filling is 5 star, fresh and full of flavour. The mushroom one is a bit spicy. Coffee also got pass. Very quick and polite service.

Food was so beautifully presented and the texture of the pastries was amazing. Ordered the croissant and apple pie, good value and delicious too! The coffee was great, affogato perfect, with the richest ice cream I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was thoughtfully designed and decorated, perfect for photos

Best pastries I've had during my trip in Seoul. Being a French national, these were top notch! Crunchy exterior and airy interior. The flaky layers and soft inside. Just loved the way these pastries have been made. I can't pick a favourite out of the three we tried. Every single one was delicious!! Absolutely loved every bite! Wished i could try more but I was too full!! You have to make this a stop by if youre around Seoul!
